I’ve been working on this unofficial poster to promote the upcoming event in my neighborhood. Deemed “The Krawl“, the event will take place on June 14th and host 25 bands and 50 artists in various Plaza-Central businesses.

This is the 3rd event of it’s kind in the neighborhood. The last event got some interesting press. Here is what people had to say: Link.

These posters will be a run of 25 3-color screen prints and posted around town. Rip one off a telephone pole or email THE NORTH STATE if you want one.

If you’re married you watch the TODAY show. If you watch the TODAY show and live in Charlotte you’ve probably heard this catchy jingle during your morning cup of joe. This commercial must have infiltrated my subconscious because what did I do when my AC unit went on the fritz? That’s right…I picked up that damn phone and Called Adams.I must say, those Adams people (Adams Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. specifically), do a pretty good job. When my old air conditioner cranked up it sounded like a jack hammer. My new one is silent…plus I have a sweet new touch screen thermostat; it’s like the iPhone of the heating and cooling world.Overall, I’m pretty happy with the result.

As a side note, that funky little diddy in the commercial was produced by my friends at CHP Audio in Charlotte.

Our old buds, favorite band, and long-standing Stafford.Tisdale client The Noises 10 were recently plugged in Billboard Magazine. Todd Martens says that “it’s Jason Scavone’s impassioned vocals that make the band impossible to ignore”.

Me and many others that frequent the band’s regular gigs at The Visulite Theatre would agree. Be sure and catch The Noises 10 somewhere on their Southeastern tour.
